1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine softened
1/2 cup nuts chopped optional
4 eggs
2 tsps vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder optional
Cream sugar & margarine together. Beat in eggs with wooden spoon. Add vanilla.
Mix flour & cocoa together, & stir into egg mixture. Stir in nuts.
Spoon rounded teaspoons on hot waffle iron (one per section). Cook 1-2 minutes until done.
Cool, spread with frosting & top with desired decoration (1/2 walnut, candy corn, sprinkles, etc.
